Geco attains a new contract to supply 15MW solar mounting system for the project in Japan

Geco Renewable Energy Co., Ltd announced that it has attained a new contract from a Japanese leading EPC company, to supply 15MW ground mounting systems for a solar power plant which is built in hilly area.

As introduced, the project is in Tokushima, Japan. It uses Geco’s single pole HDG steel mounting system, which is applicable for the slope terrain and easy for installation. Since the number of foundations decrease by half, the total cost for material is lower and the installation efficiency is higher, plus the installation cost is lower. Its strength is obvious compared to other mounting systems.

“Japan is one of the most important markets in our strategic plan. With years’ of efforts, we have attained great achievements in this market. We have set up long time cooperation relationship with local famous EPC companies, to supply mounting systems for various kinds of solar power plants. FIT in Japan is going down year by year. It is not only a challenge, but it is an opportunity as well. How to face the constantly changing market, seize the chance, is really a good question to be considered. ” Said by Ms. Ruby Yu, Marketing Director of Geco.
